I am a PhD candidate in Security Studies and International Relations at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My dissertation project focuses on how states assess their odds of victory in war. In other research projects, I examined emerging technologies and war initiation, nuclear decision-making, and the factors that shape public opinion. My work has appeared in International Studies Quarterly, PS: Political Science & Politics, and The Journal of Experimental Political Science. This year, I will be joining Johns Hopkins SAIS as a predoctoral fellow through the America in the World Consortium.
